Bunnings Warehouse Super Rugby Under 20s: Day Two results

Joining the Blues and Hurricanes in the winners’ circle, were the Crusaders and Chiefs who were dominant in their performances against Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika.  
 
The Crusaders kicked off the day in a match that spectators got to enjoy a series of tries. Taking hold of the game early, they never looked in doubt of securing the win over the Fijian Drua. The Crusaders finished on top with a 50-22 win over the Fijian Drua. The tries continued in game two of the day, with the Chiefs opening the scoring early in the match, Moana Pasifika looked to attack, but the Chiefs were too strong. The Chiefs took hold of the game delivering a 52-20 win over Moana Pasifika.  
 
The New Zealand Barbarians were up to upset again on day two and provided a competitive first half against the Blues, with the Blues having a small edge heading into the break 25-19 up. But a strong second half saw the Blues run out to a solid lead, which the New Zealand Barbarians were unable to pull back, closing out the match 51-26. The final match of day two saw the Highlanders jump out to an early lead, before the Hurricanes ran in a flurry of tries to hold a slim 26-19 lead at the break. The second half provided a tight tussle however the Hurricanes closed out the match to win 36-26.  
 
The Bunnings Warehouse Super Rugby Under 20s tournament concludes on Saturday 25 March. With the schedule as follows:  
 
11.05AM: Fijian Drua v Moana Pasifika (7th/8th Play-off) 
12.55PM: Crusaders v Chiefs (5th/6th Play-off) 
2.45PM: NZ Barbarians v Highlanders (3rd/4th Play-off) 
4.35PM: Blues v Hurricanes (Final)
