Naholo was in sensational form, crossing for a hat trick as the Hurricanes secured a bonus point win to move within striking distance of the top 6. The Fijian-born wing is the first Hurricane to lead the weekly Fantasy standings in 2025.

It was a round tailor-made for wingers, with Highlanders duo Caleb Tangitau and Jona Nareki also lighting up the scoreboard. Tangitau piled on 98 points, while Nareki wasn’t far behind with 96, despite the Highlanders falling just short in a hard-fought loss to the Brumbies in Canberra.

The top forward in Round 7 was inspirational Moana Pasifika captain Ardie Savea who scored 60 points as his side upset the Crusaders in Christchurch. Moana Pasifika flyhalf Patrick Pellegrini marshalled the side superbly and was the best performing number 10 of the weekend with 59 points.

With the Fantasy season heating up, managers will be taking a close look at these high-flying outside backs as they continue to pile on the points.
