They will open the competition at home on February 24 against the Chiefs.

A week later, they face their traditional rivals, the Highlanders, on neutral turf in Melbourne during the Super Round.

They will play Fijian Drua in the third round before travelling to Eden Park for the first of their two clashes with the Blues, the second being in Christchurch on May 13.

Australia's opening game is also a top draw with the Waratahs playing the Brumbies, the first Super Rugby game at the new Allianz Stadium in Sydney.

It will be a significant season for the competition's two newcomers, Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika.

The Drua will play five games in Fiji, split between Suva and Lautoka venues, with a round 14 blockbuster against Moana Pasifika, their second clash.

Moana Pasifika will play their first game in Apia when hosting the Reds on April 14.

The other games during the Super Round are Rebels v Hurricanes, Moana Pasifika v Chiefs, Fijian Drua v Waratahs, Blues v Brumbies and Force v Reds.

The Hurricanes will open their home programme against the Blues on March 11, the same weekend the Chiefs have their first game at home against the Highlanders.

The Highlanders will play their first home game in the opening round against the Blues.

Should the hunt for playoff places go down to the final round of regular season play on June2-3, some heavyweight challenges are on the cards.

The Blues host the Highlanders, while other games are Brumbies v Rebels, Fijian Drua v Reds, Hurricanes v Crusaders, Waratahs v Moana Pasifika and Force v Chiefs.
